1959 Royal Enfield 500 Meteor Minor. Purchased by the current owner in 1992 as a restoration project (see black and white photo) and in 1994 won the Best 500 twin at the Royal Enfield Owners Club National Rally. He sold it in 1996 to Richard Mountford who was the son of Royal Enfields last company secretary Major Mountford. When Richard died it changed hands a couple of times before the current owner bought it back in 2009. Now only for sale due to illness. Starts easily and sounds lovely.
